My Favourite Paris Apartment Selections!
It’s only normal that we have our favourites – except of course with my children! I share with you below my favourite Paris apartments. Remember that when you plan your Paris holiday I’d prefer not to take Sunday arrivals because it gets more difficult in welcoming you on that day. Also remember that you really need five nights to make an apartment stay worthwhile!
This is a wonderful apartment in the heart of the Marais district, just off Rue des Rosiers and Rue Vieille du Temple. Perfect for a couple. A real home away from home! Lovely bedroom, and separate kitchen. This is situated in a quiet street in an otherwise animated district. A fairly short walk anywhere.
Secretly this is my own apartment, but I include it because my renters would tell me to include it! It’s the most central of any apartment, being only 200m from Notre Dame Cathedral, in the Latin Quarter. Sun, views, central and charming. Perfect for a couple, but can take two couples well, and five pers is quite possible, but there is only one bathroom. Staying here makes touring so easy, because everything is so close and easily accessible.
In the heart of the Marais district this place is impressive especially for its rooftop views over Paris. Light and sunny, it is a perfect Parisian home for one couple. You’ll love staying here, and even has its own computer. It’s only about a ten minute walk to the Seine River and Notre Dame Cathedral and metros are close by.
This is a popular apartment in the St Germain district, not far from the Luxembourg Gardens on Rue Notre Dame des Champs. It has one bedroom but is ideally suited for a family of four pers or a couple. Very good metro and bus access. This is a light and quiet apartment.
If you are two couples or a family of six, then this place is the ultimate place to stay in the heart of the very smart 7th district just near the Prime-Minister’s residence. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Perfect. Just off Blvd St Germain near the Rue du Bac metro stop.
Other Selections:
Of course I have many more really successful apartments, at a variety of budgets, that are available for you in Paris. Please don’t hesitate in contacting me to see how I can help you, or contact your favourite travel agent from House of Travel.
Hi John,
I got your contact details from Carroll Macy.
Wondering if you could help us, I am turning 50 next year and would like to celebrate by taking my husband to the French Tennis Open.
As I will be in Germany on business the week ended May 25, I would like to meet my husband in Paris on the night of the 25th May.
Wondering if you could help us out with finding accommodation and tickets to Roland Garros. We envisage staying in Paris from 25/05/ until say 31/05 and then we will be going down to Spain for a week or two.
We prefer accommodation that is not hugely expensive, so maybe in a smaller hotel rather than a large one. The only real stipulations are that ideally it needs to be quite close to Roland Garros and not dark and damp, as I am allergic to dampness.
We would like at least tickets to one or two mens singles games.
At this stage except for our arrival time, dates and times are fairly flexible, as we have not booked any other travel plans yet.
Hope you can help

Hi John,
Wondering if you could help me and my husband, we are celebrating our 10th anniversary and we are planning to have a nice vacation outside the U.S. This will be both our first time in France. We want to travel anytime after Dec 1, 2011.
Wondering if you could help us out with finding accommodation. We are thinking of staying in Paris for one week and another week in Italy.
We prefer accommodation that is not expensive, so maybe in one of the apartments you mention. Can you help us with tours as well?
We are fairly flexible, we just want to be in Paris in December.
